Visit to Warrington & Manchester (22/01/2011)

On Saturday 22nd January 2011 I visited Manchester & Warrington to get some bus pictures from around the area. I start of early in the morning at 7:00 and arrived in Warrington at 9:00. I took some pics of the local bus scene, I sore some of Warrington's new buses from March 2009.

To the right is an image of Warringtons smart Eclipse buses, from Wright Bus, I think that these buses look really nice, the only thing is when I tried to make a paper bus net to look like these buses it took while to get it to look like the original bus.

I also got some rear buses today like a Mercedes bus from Fairway travel, I never cought the Strawberry buses as well today due to only spending half an hour in the Bus Station and then after that I headed towards Manchester.

I arrived at the Trafford Center at about 12:00 and took some bus pictures from around there small bus station in front of the main car park, also today I went into Manchester Piccadilly to get some bus pictures and sore some new Enviro 400's in the new stagecoach GREEN livery due to these being Eco Friendly. An image of one of the buses is shown below.

I like these new buses as they look pretty cool in the new livery, these are Eco Friendly buses part of the new Green system for Manchester as we are saving on fuel and money, theses are to be more Eco friendly than those horrible Diesel buses like the older Enviro 400's

I hope you like my photo, if you want to use this as your background please click on the image and it will enlarge then right click on the image and click on SET TO BACKGROUND.

Next update will be in a week or so.

This coming Saturday I am due to visit Chester and will be taking images of the local scene, images of First Chester will be added to the site including GHA Coaches, Helms of Eastham and more.

Liverpool Area: 21/01/2011

Today I manage to collect a few images around the Liverpool Queen Square (bus station) area, I also manage to take an image of one of HTL's brand new buses registered MX60GXB, today I also sore an Arriva bus at the side of the road stationary as the rear wheel nearest to the pavement had a bad oil spill so they had to call the break down people from Bootle.

To the right is an image of HTL's new Streetlite buses by Wright Bus, this is in the new registration form from 2010 (MX60GXB) I hope you like the image.

I noticed this bus out an about on Thursday 20th January but unfortunately did not have my camera with me at the time so I could not take a picture of this fantastic new bus, I have also created a paper bus net (net by peter fray, livery by Joel Hardy) which will be added on hour brand new hub site launched Jan 2011.

Below is an image of a single decker from Arriva Merseyside, the rear wheel had an oil spill which can be dangerous, luckily the bus was at the side of the road, so I took a picture of the wheel with all the oil on the wheel, I also noticed that the oil spill had made the bus go lower than usual which meant the wheel arch was to far down on top of the wheel, an image is shown below:

MX09LYH bus with oil spill Arriva Bootle.
To the right is  an image of one of Arriva Bootle's buses with an Oil Leak which has made the rear of the but become lower than usual.

I thought I would take a picture of this to show people what could happen to a bus if the oil has leaked.

This weekend I plan to go and visit Manchester & Warrington.

Here is the pic of the rear of the bus that had the oil leak.
